New Milford Medical Group is a dynamic multi-specialty medical practice with a long history of service. Started by Internist Dr. Harold Kamm in 1976, our vision from the beginning was to provide outstanding medical care to the people of the greater New Milford Community in a personal and cost effective manner. Along the way, we added Cardiologists, Family Practice Physicians, Physician Assistants as well as a host of ancillary testing procedures.

As an independent medical practice for 48 years, our mission has never waivered. We remain intensely focused on delivering a premier patient experience within the context of cutting edge, cost effective and personal medicine. We strive to build loyalty and trust in our patients. Most of all, we want our patients to trust that we can and will help them with their medical needs and that we have our eye on the ball in regard to optimizing their long-term health through prevention.

We are proud that our practice has been recognized by the National Committee for Quality Assurance as a Patient Centered Medical Home. A Patient Centered Medical Home (PCMH) is a team-based model of care led by your personal physician.
The team provides continuous and coordinated care to maximize outcomes while working to decrease the overall cost of healthcare. A PCMH is an approach to providing comprehensive health care services in a high-quality, cost effective manner. A PCMH is responsible for providing and coordinating your healthcare needs across the "medical neighborhood" of professionals and social support services. This also includes the provision of preventive services, treatment of acute and chronic illnesses and assisting with the transition of care. "Patient Centered" means YOU are the most important person on the healthcare team.
In order to win recognition as a Patient Centered Medical Home, a medical practice must demonstrate that it has met, or exceeded, the standards that have been developed by the National Committee for Quality Assurance for this purpose. New Milford Medical Group scored over 90% compliance with these standards.
